He just kept saying "I have been busy man" I thought that was a lame excuse to wait so long to contact someone.

You bet it's lame.  That's the oldest one in the book.  I used to hear that from girls who were ignoring me.  I heard it more than once.  Luckily for me, the girl who became my wife never said that to me!!!  Anyway, in this case, that means he hasn't had time to:

1. Eat
2. Sleep
3. Go potty

We all know it's a load of bull, and there's no way he couldn't have picked up the phone for a 5-minute call or dropped an email (or had a staff member do it).

Okay, off the soap box.  Good luck in this Josh.  I hope it all works out for you buddy.

I told him a postal or bank money order only! HE is shipping via freight like NAVL so no crating or palletizing. It would be hard to but a victor 3 door on a pallet Smiley I will probably block him from further transactions. This one has been bad enough

I never thought of that! I bet there will be one in the making now. He seemed like he was bothered with buying the cooler when he called and I told him not to worry about it that I would not leave negative feedback and would resell it and it immediately caught his attention and he made it clear that he really wanted the cooler. I wonder if this will be a cooler grill soon. That would be easy for him to do since he can make a Vendo 39 turn into a Cavalier 72 Smiley I wonder if he knows that everyone in the Coke machine hobby is laughing at him about that.

No, I met him a few years ago when he was delivering a 4 door restored Victor to a customer here in my area. He seems to have a waiting list for these.
Also he wanted to buy a nice original 39 from me that day for $600.00 but I wouldn't accept a check and his ATM wouldn't give him any cash   blush

I need everyone's opinion should I not accept a check from this guy? Can I trust a money order or cashiers check from him? What would you all do? He did not respond through ebay so I can technically end the auction and return his check when it arrives and it would be completely legit. I am getting very worried about working with this guy. What would you all personally do if you were in my position??? Everyone please give me your opinion.

You can call and verify funds on any check or verify the validity of any money order. You can cash or deposit it and not allow p/u until funds have been credited.

You said, from the start, that you hoped for more for the item. If you're concerned that this sale may end up with you surrendering the item without getting paid for it, I'd say cancel the sale and start over; unless you don't think you can get more for it.
