First off, congrats on the "new" machine! The C-55D which is just an earlier version of the C-55E was my very first machine that I restored and it's in use down in my basement gameroom, I love that little machine and I think you will too!  biggrin

If you give me your email address, I'll send you a copy of the wiring diagram. The "D" is electrically the same with the exception of the lighted sign wiring which added a ballast, a starter, flourescent bulb and two bulb receptacles.

This should get you started untill a C-55E owner chimes in with a specific wiring diagram.

Oh yeah, are you having an eletrical related problem that I, or somebody else here, might be able to help you with?

Well I got the c-55E in an on line auction without looking at it.

The problem I have I have no lights, even after wiring for free vend , the vend relay moves but I can not get the vend motor to move. I have disconnected the door switch, the flapper switch seems to be working, but the lights and vend motor do not move.

I have pulled the vending part out of the machine and manual turned the gears and them seem to work, but I do not have access to the timer switch by the motor.

At least the refrigeration that works fine.

So I ordered a manual from funtronics and there wiring diagram is terrible. That was a waste of money. The only thing I could think of is the vend relay is bad.

You should be able to hook up a plug to the vend motor and plug it into a wall outlet. It should turn when power is supplied to the motor. Don't let it run continuously....a revolution or less - just make sure it works when power is supplied to it.

I had (and still have) a vend motor for a Westinghouse WB Select-O-Matic that was a sealed type motor too. I could turn the cam by hand and it seemed OK, but the gears inside were stripped and would not turn the cam electronically.

Hard motor to find if it is bad!! I hope not!

Here is a pic of my wiring diagram. PM me your email address if you need a higher res pic.

Hey Tom,

The wiring diagram that you have is for a 2-drink 55E, his is a single drink. Just didn't want any extra confusion.

Sorry, didn't read it all I guess - subject says c-55e...thought the single flavor was the 'D' model??

Sorry, I did not state what it was, but the tag on the side says c-55E, but it is a single vend version.

Unless, I am missing something I do not have access to the download area even when I am logged in. Hmmm

Go to http://soda-machines.com/
Do not click on Discussion Areas
Scroll down and on the left login with your user name and password.
Unless it is a limited access area as another member stated, you should see Downloads there on the left as well under User Menu.

How about some pics of your machine reddarb?
