Ok the Next thing we did was to remove the main door I took the bolts off the main hinge
at the top then just lifted the door up and off . then it was time to remove the bottle rack again I like to start from the the bottom and work up that way the top screw is holding all the weight.

Then it was time to remove the main door latch (going to nickel plate) and pull the tank,
There are screws holding the tank in removing those and I like starting from the bottom and
slowly working it out going from the bottom to the top and doing the same thing just little tugs.

Now we are down to a shell ( almost) did a little poking around the bottom and found a hole  So a new panel will have to be made and put in  . |

Ok here is the machine without the insulation and a look at the bottom to many hole's
going to have to get some new metal put in there, Just talked to my source on soda blasting
may happen next week and there will be photos.

and I will be taking every thing to get soda blasted, this place has a big blaster that can handle this they also do vintage cars.
Anyways breaking down the bottle door . I removed the eight screws four on each side to get the glass out. Then I removed the handle & two screws for that, and that will be going in to be chromed.

Ok, Back to Project V90... Today was Soda blasting day, I took the V90 over to my friends at Service Master In Mason MI . And thank's to Buddy (he runs the soda blasting crew ,He the one in the red shirt) for bringing the deep fried frog legs and cokes for lunch.  . |

I Stayed for a little bit but had a meeting I had to be back for, so I left the guy to finish . and I picked it up tonight . And as you can see I had some belt line rust that went through so that will have to be taken care of . |

Glad you are back to this post pat! I was starting to feel like my favorite tv show had been canceled in mid season... I hope you were able to stay til the frog legs were gone!  |

Well I had to work with My Friends over at Service Master this was on there time,
I was planning on Sand blasting the rust areas today , but the weather is not cooperating
with me today or tomorrow or even Monday RAIN !!!
But I may plan on doing the compressor just to keep things fresh.
