Hey There Bob, Yes I am a Sq Top machine guy I just like them alot better.
Ok Here is just a little quick projected that I did Thursday night before heading north for the weekend. The Coin Bezel & you
I did break it down but I will show you putting it back together again.
I took some steal wool and went over the galvanized metal to paint it slate grey

Painted the inside of the correct change light cover with chrome paint and the out side with
slate grey, and the backing plate for the coin shoot was also painted grey

Now the reassembly of the coin bezel.
the lens was in good shape I just washed it with some warm water to get years of dirt off.
Note ( be very careful with those lens because sometime the paint will flake off because of years of light bulb heat) also cleaned up the back plate it was in good shape it did not have to be rechromed

putting the backing plate back on and the coin return leverback in. ( I have a extra lever
that is going to be rechromed , that will be changed for final assemby ) put the spring back in
and the spacer back in

With the spring and spacer back in next the coin return bar
and then the correct change light cover was put back on.

Tonight I pulled the compressor and that is about it before the mosquitoes almost carried me
away.
Cleaning up the bolt that holds the compressor in place after working on it it still snapped
off. Then I unscrewed the evaperator there was 4 screw on mine sometimes there is 5 or 6
4 on the back and two on the bottom. then I pulled the line and electricial line protector.

and then I disconnected the electrical at the plug and then unhooked the electrical
at the rack again tagging the wires with tape and marking where they go.
Also make sure you get all the screws this was up and under to hold the wires up,
So before you pull the compressor take a look to make sure every thing is disconnected.

Now it is time to pull the compressor, It will go on a compressor stand tomorrow
so that it can get new fan motors and a Tstat and then cleaned up and painted.
A look at the tank with all that crap in it broken glass and dirt and stuff
got two spots that have to be brassed up and a new copper drain tube will be put in.

Ok Tonight we will take the Trim off the main door and remove the door then we will remove
the tank.
First photo is the trim I like a thin blade screw driver to bemove the stainless trim
I look for a small gap then slide my screw driver in till I find the first clip and sticking my
screw driver in the clip and prying out ward till it pops .( be real careful not to bend the trim)
Then I moved onto the panel that goes around the bottle door there are 12 screws top and
bottom and sides
