Okay, folks. I've decided it's time for me to let everybody know that I am the proud owner of a Nichol Kola Quikold Standard !
Yeah, the one that is full of bullet holes.
I know it does need a lot of work but knowing how helpful everybody is on this website, I know it'll be fixed somehow. It's time for me to get cracking on it and start on this project.
Apparently it consists of the four panels, the bottle opener and the four corner pieces to hold down the rubber molding on the top beneath the lids. So, I need the entire base to attach the side panels, the lids, the support brackets to hold up the "ice box", the ice box itself, rubber molding for the lids and anything else I'm not aware of at this point.
Eric - you mentioned a while ago that you have a friend that owns a generic Quickold Standard for sale at $200. Does he still have it ?
I'd like to buy as it'll make this project much easier to get started as far as getting the missing parts of my Quickold Standard.
