All,

What do you make of this gum machine?  I know nothing about them.  If it's any good, it would be cool for the house.

Hi Wayne,
I have one. Other than the tiny boxes of gum you can't vend anything else out of it. That is a good price. Hope it has the key or you know a good locksmith. They were made for the subways and are tough little machines. Let me know if you have any questions.

Wayne,   I have one too. Nice machines - Mills gum machine made for the subway system. If there is no key, I could make a copy from mine.  That is VERY cheap. I hope you can get it ...Bob

Thanks guys.  Maybe this is a dumb question, but can you still get the small boxes of gum (like Chicklets in a small box)?

It also has no key.  Bob, if I can get this, I probably would ask for that copy.  That's very nice of you to offer.  Thanks!

Hi Wayne,

I had a Mills gum machine, but I sold it.  It was in great shape and it had the original key.  Mills made weird keys.

Anyway, you can still buy the chicklets gum in the small boxes.  But I am not sure where.  I ordered some off of the internet.  There are many sites that sell retro candy.  I forgot which one I used.  Groovycandies.com was one and I forgot the other one.  Usually it would come in Spearment and Peppermint.  I found one web site that was really cheap, but it had a $50.00 minimum.

I use their gum and candy cigars and cigarettes in my cigar and cigarette machines.  Another gum that fits well is Canel.  It is from Mexico and I usually find it at the local dollar store.  Also, you can try Andies candies.  I used thoses in a Select O Vend  I'm pretty sure it would fit in the Mills.

Yes,  the Mills key is weird - I will TRY to get copies if needed.  I just ordered some two pack chicklets from amazon.com     Cost me $16 for 200 packs   I'm not sure what link, but I can let you know if needed.
