I would have thought so as well. Several Shelby's sold at below market. Too many on the block, 5 GT-500 KR's average 130K. KR's used to get 210k.
Lost track of the lesser units, there were a bunch. Strange dynamic's this year. Customized 1956 f-100/150 trucks went huge for the restoration effort. Some classics lost big time.
Can't speak to the GM numbers but the nice cars seemed to do well.
Darn near fell out of my chair on the $330,000 Olds 442. Nice restoration but that is a bunch for a 442.
Funny how it was dead silent when the big whoop ta do on Jeff Gordons racer stalled at $350,000 and never moved.

I was watching when they were auctioning Gordan's car. They kept hyping how there were two cars, how the engine alone was $100k, how the winner could sit in during the driver's meeting... It really went nowhere after selling last time for 500k.
