               THANKS !!

                 That's What I was Thinking and after you replied I tryed it ! I didn't get shocked    Some Things are working now .The Original Changer is not Working Correctly .I'll have to talk to JohnnieG , A newer one works good . The Lights for the sold out don't work yet .But The machine Cools & Works 90% So were getting there .

No prob Leonard, glad I could help.

As far as the Sold Out lights go. Have you replaced them or swapped them into the Correct Change Light Bulb spot? (assuming that it works with a good changer)

Have you checked the two switches to make sure that they aren't stuck closed and that when you disconnect them that they have good continuity when you depress them? There are (4) total switches, (2) for each stack.

If they have good continuity, you will also have check the (3) relays that are associated with the Vend Cycle. They are all located beneath the female 9-Pin Cinch Receptacle. Being 50's technology they are all exposed coil & contact construction. What I mean by that is they aren't in a canned housing that will prevent you from cleaning the contacts.

           Great Pictures !! I found the Problem !! It seams that 2 wires were pinched in Half in the harness behind the lights wrapped in the Black Plastic . Everything is NOW working Except the Original Coin Mech I had a Newer Mars & Replaced it . Now I just got to actually repair things & Tape it all up .

Brain I have seen the coils .I had a Problem with my Other C-55-E-2 Select. Thought it was the Coin Mech .But It was the Top Coil was Not working  ( Energizing ??) I removed it and found the little copper wire was burnt in half .Lucky I was able to find 7 un-wind it a little 7 sodder it back together .Still WORKING !!

But I bet I'd never be able to find a replacement one ??

Great news!! I'm glad you got it working with relative ease.

As far as the coil goes, there are replacements available that could be made to work in that application. Good to hear that you able to fix it, a few less windings won't really affect it's performance.
