Here is one of my latest projects. It is a Dr.Pepper Atlas Standard. Actually I have two of them. This one I am going to restore, and the other one I am going to sell and let someone else restore it. There is a lot of work getting one of these apart. I have the right color of green to paint this, but I would like some members from here to give me some ideas on the colors to do the embossed 10 2 4 and circle. Would it look OK just to do it in red and do the dials black? I noticed the one that Jeff has was done white on the front and sides and top done in red. What's everyones take on this Huh?

Your poll question is showing up as 1: help 2: help. So that's not going to be any help. tounge Red numbers and black dials looks right to me.

I think a white dial. black hands, numbers in red on the Green DP would make it stand out.

Rod,

Here's what our Atlas Senior looks like.  I think the combination of red and black look real nice!

We just sold this, and I'm delivering it tomorrow to the new owner.  The wife wanted to get something a bit smaller than the Senior.  Sure wish you were closer, as a decent Standard would fit the bill just fine (since I lost out on the Atlas Junior I found last year   darn  )!
