Well I know Joey start to show a start to finish projected but ran in to some problem.
So I'm going to go though a Vendo V90ss start to finish and maybe this can be used for some of the newbie's

Ok well start to take it apart helpful hint Zip lock bags and a sharpie to put the screws in and small parts.
Well first picture is the marquee there is a screw on the inside main door that hold the marquee in on this side and the two pins on the marquee box (photo 2) then the inside
of the machine showing were the pins go into.

Then I took off the coin entry bezel 4 screw hold this again one on the main inside door
(picture2) the zip lock bag.
Then moved onto the coin door, Start with the bottom screw first that way the door wont drop and hit the floor

Then I moved onto the grill ,Now sometimes every thing come out fine and other times
you have to take a drill to it to remove a screw that is rusted in.
Then I Moved onto the back side to remove the liner ,There are clips behind the rubber gasket now I like using a small blade screw driver to remove those clips, start at the bottom and work to the top those liners are old and will break easy.
Then I pealed out the old insulation and put it into a trash bag.
I also scraped off that old tar and then took a little paint thinner to remove the rest of the tar.

Then I moved onto the bottle door to remove it from the machine , Again start at the bottom, this one you don't want hitting the floor . (all that glass)
Then the rubber gasket was removed the screws are behind that which also unbolts
the bottle door light kit and I also marked the wiring for top and bottom .

And a shot of the work that was done tonight on the V90.
Then I did some glass beading on some parts that are going to Nashville Plating
to be nickel plated that is what I like to do , You could paint them also.
A few extra bottle openers for the collection.

Now if some of the older members think I missed something please jump in and ask or say something.  . I'm doing this so those new members and new to the hobbie have something that they can go to . |
