WOW.... '>
I wish my machines were that old they had more character... I got these that were at the end of the cool era..... as you can see they started going to the box blah stage... I would say these are ealry 1960s MAYBE late 50s...... I bought one for a $100 it came out of my home town ice cream shop and the other was on eBay and no one bought it so I paid $55 then another showed up for $25.... I just want one and maybe can get two complete machines out of these. The green one is mine I have a blue one and another that is like the second picutre. They are short about the height of a 56 and no too bad just not the charater of a older Stoner... Have you guys bought anything this new and restored? Would love to come up with a better color combo. Maybe a Candy Red or some type of two-tone.
All the knobs are metal. Chroming is high... Anybody got some one they use that they can refer?... The mirror has the etched reverse CANDY on it which is kinda cool.

Hi Eric, If you want any paint codes that you see on my Stoners or Nationals, let me know. I would be more than happy to pass them on to you. E-mail me at memorylane@myactv.net Theres alot of chrome on the nationals, about $500.00 worth on yours and about 5 to 8 weeks to get it back. There is still alot you can do with that machine. Still worth keeping. Powder coating is alot less money.

Powder coat is probably the way I'll go as far as knobs.... Would like to see one of these restored and how you did it. I was thinking red or black cherry as far as color maybe a two-tone.. I think I'll take it into photoshop and do the ol' paint it before I really paint it! By the way How did that Little Coke cooler with the wood grain turn out... I did some examples for... Was that you Terry or Moondawg.... Want to see images of that.

If you like the deep reds Eric than here is a color I use on the Stoner machines. Everyone seems to like it. Curtis Memory Lane Restorations.

I believe one of my friends maybe painting the woodgrain paint job. Last time I saw the cooler Glen was still working on the bodywork. '>

Okay I'm no Curtis! I got this machine 8 years ago and cleaned it up, painted it and made it free vend. It sits in my entry way and the kids love to come in and get candy. adults too. Does somebody make a stand for the junior?
