I only caught the end of the show. I was wondering how they removed the scuff plate. Aren't they tack welded all around the inside? Did it show them taking it off?

The are sandwiched in between the 2 pieces of metal a royal mess to remove one !!!

Maybe it's because I started this post so I feel obligated to, but I'm still watching. I can look past the faux drama (like the need to drill a motorcycle fender with the tire still attached), I can even look past all the car restorations, but the shots where the "actors" are talking into one camera and you view them from the side drives me nuts.
