Those Who Stay Will be Champions!

« on: January 07, 2009, 01:09:00 pm »

I was browsing E-Bay listings yesterday evening and this one caught my eye.  Did some offerring and counter-offering back and forth and voila!  happydrinkers I now am the proud owner of a Candyette candy vendor.  happydrinkers  Looks like a fun item to have in the game room!  I have been watching this type of candy vendor on E-Bay and the last three similar ones--Star Hershey Vendors went for:

$316.49--Excellent Condition
$171.50--Complete but finish was pretty scratched up and was missing black turn handle
$140.37--Good finish but missing top and needed new locks--no keys

I went a little higher on this item than I wanted to ($145) but it looks almost brand new with only a few minor scratches.  How did I do?  I will probably put Snickers Bars in it!

Here are some pics.

Watch out with those sort of vending machines.... They are even more addictive than Soda Machines...
I should know I have about 40 of the blighters...

I think "the boy done good" with the price you got it for... Congrats

You can't go wrong. You just have to hang it up and your done. No restoration needed. I need to find machines like that.
