Steve and I just found the most Collectable Coca Cola piece there is! There are only 3 in the world ever found and Coke owens 2 of them, the other is in Texas. We now have the 4th. We found the DOLE MASTER SODA FOUNTAIN...It's huge, must of held 4gl. Unrestored. The guy in texas turned down $15k several times. Ours will be for sale in Restored to like new condition with the original ID-plate. Pictures to follow.

Sounds pretty cool! You should see about getting a pic for Jim to put on the site since I noticed that there is no picture or information for this model.

Here are a few photos of the Fountain but untill your standing next to it, you can't get a feel for how huge this piece is.

So with it being so close to you, do you have any idea where it might have been used at in its service days?  Historical society or local paper might have some old photos that have it in action in the back ground if you new where it came from and didn't have anything better to do...

Automatic soda dispensers made their debut in 1933 at the Chicago World’s Fair when Coca-Cola introduced the Dole Master Dispenser. This was the first soda dispenser that was able to mix the carbonated water and cola syrup together automatically, which was then dispensed merely with a pull of the handle.

A quick google turned this up site, but not sure if it is where the pic is from.

Would like to see more pics of that truck - looks like quite a setup!

That's it, look for the thread 'vintage shots of days gone by'. But beware, there's 2000 pages of cool old photos, you can easily lose a day or two!

That would be a cool car to have.

Hey, cokemachinesandmore, run the plates on that first rear shot photo, they're Illinois plates.  Track down the family and see what's in their old garage. biggrin

Here's a little info on the "dispenser truck" from the book Coca Cola It's vehicles in photographs 1930 - 1969
Howard L. Applegate
A 1934 White, with body by H. McFarlane and Company, Chicago, used to distribute samples of Coca Cola.

One has to wonder if this rig survived and where could it be now?Huh?  hopefull

Thanks for looking, I found it the other night as well. Once you start looking you can't stop, it's one of the best collection of vintage photos ever! Thanks for all the help everyone. Restoration is well on it's way, it took 5 hours to remove the bottom without distroying anything. Trim is being repaired and replated.
