Dole Director, I believe late 50's. early 1960's. Yeah, I remember them as a kid at the Kresge store.
Heavy, trust me on this one and kinda large. Drip tray insert is missing, don't know if the top lid is missing. The front and back panels are interchangeable, so a vendor could put in a flavor they carried.
i prefer the earlier Dole outboard style, so my guess, and it's only a guess is $100-150

I have seen them at flea markets and shows for $50 to $150 and passed them up. They are very heavy and not nearly as collectable as the outboards.

I will keep my distance then. The guy was asking $85 for it. But it sounds like maybe its not the best item to have anyways. Thanks for the tips guys.

Yea, There Big & Heavey !! The Compressure & Cooling Ids Located in the Top .It weights around 125+ There was one local to me for $49.00 after 2-3 weeks it sold .

If its something that you like then $85 might not be bad. Since it has a cooling system indide it will keep the Coke cold so its better to use than the older machines. If you like it and may use it then I say go for it.
