Welcome to the Stoner club!
Can we call you Jeff Spicoli now? (Fast Times at Ridgemont High)
Attached is a pic of mine - a little rougher, but straight and complete.
My 7-year-old keeps asking me when I'm going to fix up the candy machine as I always seem to be working on other machines.

The kids got his/her priorities straight!!

Mine keep asking me to finish mine, by the time I do that, they'll have kids of their own.

Thanks for the great welcome to the new club...

Mrs B found it the other night... Bit difficult not to really, she had to step over it to get to the
washing machine... The good news however, is that she didn't hit the roof..

I think I have worn her down now so that she is not at all surprised with anything I bring home...

Al I need now is a few friends round so I can lift it onto the stand and start working on it... I never knew the thing could be so heavy...

As soon as its together I'll shot a few more pictures and then ask the silly questions...

Well, took Glen & Lenord's Advice and removed the stack before placing on the base...
Much easier thanks...

Now have it in the room and have given it a bit of a polish... Looks like its been there for years..

The coin mech was removed prior to purchase and I had a fiddle to try and get it back in place but gave up in the end.. It looks like it needs a overhaul...

So, first silly question.... The machine I assume vends on 25c... I load the coin mech with five cent pieces but nothing seems to happen... They seem to get caught at the little gate on the bottom. I can't work out how the mech registers that it has the right money and what it does to allow the machine to vend... Any help plse....

The "fresh candy" embossed lettering on the front... Is that usually a different colour to the rest of the machine....

Cheers

It looks right at home Dave, Good find.. I'm painting my Jr up in simliar colors for my room.. can't wait to get it back from the painter...
as far as the coin mech, are you sure it's 25 cents? seems high? if it is on 25 cents, I doubt there is room for 5 nickels in there? probalby just a 25 cent peice.

My jr vends on 10 cents on 5 of the rows, and 15 cents on the other.. and there is an adjustment to allow this... I'm still playing with it ,so not exacly sure how to change it...

I'm sure Curtis can shed some light on this subject. help

Birdman,

nice Stoner.  I would guess it to be a 5c or 5c/10c machine.  What does the stainless plate say, nickels only, nickels and dimes, or something like deposit coins?  How about the rods that say "Out", they should have a price on their tag.  Did you say that it did have acoin mech?

Here is a picture of an instruction card from Stoner on price adjustments.

You make the adjustments by opening or closing the piece in the back of my second picture.  This assembly is above your pull knobs.
