Leonard, You're such a tease , Well at least I know they're out there . I'll just keep on looking . Here was what I use to have a 1950's United Deluxe Bonus Gun. It was a great game, but it was to predictable. I liked it because you could shoot hillbillies. When my dad came up from Tennessee, I would ask him if he would like to shoot at some kin folk . I figured that if I was going to replace my gun game, I would replace it with a dual gun game. It should be a riot. How long have you had it? Larry

Leonard,
I'm in Chicago, Il.
That seven pin, most likely, just needs a switch adjustment either the roll over switch, under the alley, or in the pin section. I only worked on United bowling machines. I've had five total thoughout the years.
I kept a ball bowler and a shuffle alley. Actually, let me change that last statement, because I bought a Bally All Star last Christmas. I didn't give it the whole treatment, just adjusted some switches on the pin reset motor to get it to work. That game is pretty cool because it uses a turret to shoot the bowling ball.
What kind of bowling machine does your friend have? Make and model. I have a United Embassy and a United Falcon.

Thanks Doc!
Here is a wider view of the other side of the basement. When I took the picture,. I titled it "There's a new kid on the block." I just finished the Evans Winterbook and took a picture for a friend.
I thought it was funny because it looked like the other machines were sizinig up a new friend, but it must of been all the years of restoring machines, Rod Serling ,or the LSD that made me have these weird thoughts. Just kidding! I never heard of Rod Serling.

Thanks Matt! Yep, it's colder than a ......, well, it's just plain cold out. Speaking of planes, I was in my living room and heard an airplane fly overhead. The engines had that certain sound. They always sound different when it's below zero out. I wonder why?

Cold air is denser, so the sound waves transfer better, It's the same reason you can to hear train whistles from far away at night ( when it has cooled down), or pick up radio signals from distant radio stations you can't pick up in the day.
Sorry, Back on topic
Cool machines !
