Terry is shown welding "round corner" machines..they sell for 10 times what a restored square corner machine will bring

As for Moondawgs question, not a lot. Iam very lucky, that I can do what I do for a full time living. I have very high end customers that keep me making a nice living, doing what we all love to do. Find these machines and make our wives mad all the time!! Only kidding, But I'm glade to be doing what I do and I love helping all of you that call me for advice. Thats what this is all about. Helping everyone out.

I remove the line on all of my machines as well, but I still prefer hammertone. The powder coating looks good in the pics but it has never been used. I have seen a few machines that have been powdercoated and have been used and the inside doesn't looks as nice anymore. I think the hammertone holds up great. and like Glen said for a square top who wants to put that much money into a square top. That is a nice looking machine Curtis.

Curtis,
Without a doubt your work is great and I think it's awesome that you can make a living doing it. I have thought numerous times about quitting my day job and going full time into the restoration business. My Resto shop and all my equip. is totally paid for. The reasons for not doing this full time is my employer pays me very well to sit on my butt and push buttons all day. the insurance, benefits and 401K are also hard to beat, but the main reason is I do this on my off time is because I simply enjoy doing it and don't have to. if I had to do it to pay the bills it probably wouldn't be as fun.

You are wright, I'm lucky my wife has good Insurance, for years, I had her stay home with our son. That was hard. She don't wake alot but the Insurance is very good. She works for the County.

Everyone, thinks I only work on the Easy stuff, now I'm to the point, where I can pick and chose my work but there was a time of day?? Look at this three door Victor I did, who does this, very few.
