Need Insulation Tips

Hi all,
So as soon as the weather gets a bit warmer (and dryer!! ) here in MA I'll paint my WC60 Multi-Drink liner and start re-assembly.

As far as purchasing fibreglass insulation, is there anything specific I need to know?

- paper backed?
- any specific thickness?
- any types to avoid?

Do you guys use any adhesive material to hold the insulation in place?

Any tips would be appreciated.

I do it just like the factory , paper less and standard insulation .You can do a higher  r rating just don't go thicker. Just my two cents

Bob,

Use paperless to aid in avoiding water retention.
There was a discussion some time ago that talked about using cardboard to aid in re-assembly... This is the method I used to keep the insulation from compacting during liner insertion

I also agree on using unfaced rolled insulation. I use the "Cardboard Method" as well, It works great!

All I could find for my machines was paper lined. All I did was remove the paper. It just pulls right off. I also use the cardboard method. It really works

I just got back from Home Depot and I couldn't find any "non-paper" rolled insulation.  Good to know the paper peels right off.  Thanks Josh.

Actually joey it is really three of your old machines. The 56 is the cabinet from a regular 56 square top you parted out and the door from the transitional that I sold you and then got back, and then the pepsi 88. I didn't relize that untill you said something. That is funny. '>

Ive still got the original cabinet from that transitional tucked away in the shed. Yeah theres three machines worth there.
