Hello to everyone here at SMC.  I'm new to these older vending machines and their many little quirks. (I use to run pinball/videos in commercial outlets)

I recently picked up a Cornelius 4 selection model (approx. 70's year).
I met "skeleton-man" and he pointed me in this forums direction. A great guy and he said this was the premier forum for machine information.

My question of the day:
Does anyone know where I can get any info on these Cornelius machines?

Thanks for any help/leads.......

Welcome to the site, eh?  Did you look in the Soda Machines section on the home page?  What kind of info are you looking for?  I hope that Skeleton-man told you that we love to see pictures!

Hello dr galaga from the wilds of whitby.

I am trying to find any information on this machine:
a Cornelius Model 50-0842
with a coinco 9310 SD.
stamped- Cornelius Made in Toronto.

I am looking for:
- a schematic with part numbers etc.
- a specific or generic repair manual.
- any information regarding these units.
- restoring info: paint/decals etc.

I am going to do a clean-up and repair some problems etc.

I've looked on the web etc. but nothing found on the old Cornelius machines.
Alrighty then, here's some "beauty photos" of the old gal.
Thanks for the help and welcome.

CoinCo has some manuals on their web site.  They list some 9300 changers, you may want to see if any of these will help you.
As for a manual for the actual machine, you can try the supporters of the site that have ads at the top of the page.  You may have a problem finding one though.
You also may want to search the forum for some information.  Watch out though, most Cornelius machines are sliders (chest style).

This site is terrific.
I did find a machine using the manufacturers links on this site and found the Cornelius SV-136-4AC looks very close. Dimensions etc. are on target.

But once again, nothing on the web about it.

I did find other postings with regards to my machines past...  interesting.

Thanks for the help.  I'll keep digging.
I also found that I have an "Ideal 300" sitting in my dad's garage for the past 35years.  He use to keep apples in it!
Rusty but all there and restorable.

See you soon with more.

Frankie, I guess you have the before and after for the machine..  as you can see I did a fair bit of work to sort out the electricals.. (from the mess it was in when I bought it!)

I'll try and help you get it back on it's feet again..   ':<img:'>
