Yes yet another stray lead back to the land of soda-pop, In my travels Friday 02/28, rounded a corner and there it was! A Cavalier C-51 sitting in the drive with a for sale sign! (screeching brakes...) owner was home and we stuck a deal, and it followed me home! it's complete, and has the hand-grab bar and iron dolley wheels also. only thing is the wiring is ratty, so any body out there got a wiring diagram with the compressor terminal layout??? (yes it runs, but it's got "peanut-brittle" for wires)

Spoon-feeding Newbies since 2001... Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes. Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon! The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor 11 is louder than 10... "Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

It's always a good feeling to find something out of the blue!
Johnie, I just checked the C-51 manual and found no electrical schematic but since there's nothing but the refrigeration unit, the fan in the evaporator and possibly a coin mech heater, this should be straight forward to wire. It's very similar to the diagram you posted for a 60's model except there would be no wiring to a cabinet harness.

Thanks for the reply Jim, once I got it inside I can see the layout now, was wondering which of the three terminals on the compressor are the "start" "run" and "common"'>

Is there an ID Tag for the refrigeration unit so I can possibly look that info up...?

Jim, I found the following info on the back plate:
Frigidaire 1/8 H.P. 115VAC/50/60 Cycles 2.4 amps 1lbs F12 17X5369 model no. 5440551 with a Frigidaire YT relay as a wiring junction block
here's a crude drawing of the bottom of the unit as viewed from the rear.

Got it Jim! it goes from left to right, left terminal=common center terminal=start (about 5.9-6.2 ohms to common) right terminal=run (about 3.5-4.2 ohms to common) put a 3-in-1 starter booster on it and she fired right up! good and cold, and I replaced the evaporator motor, an old Delco part, (a very odd little motor to cross reference!)

Sounds good Johnie! I apologize for the delay, I was away from home for a couple of days and couldn't get to reference materials. Your diagram really confused me because I could figure what was what...
