Thanks guys! It's already gotten off to a nice start. One of my Co-workers shares my interest in coin-op stuff and has an brother-in-law that works as a city planner up in northern Indiana. They deal with a lot of abandoned property that has to be cleaned out (taken to the dump!) before it's auctioned off.

With that being said he comes across a ton of arcade games and related items and has made a small business for himself rescuing the afore mentioned games.

I was talking with my co-worker buddy and talk turned to crane games and how neat it would be to have one at home for the kids. He said that he had picked one up off of Ebay a couple of months ago for $75 an really was enjoying it. His was missing quite a few peices and was electronically broken. He fixed the electronic portion and scrounged and fixed the mechanical.

He said he would ask his brother-in-law if he had any for sale. Well....it turned out that he had a very nice crane game and all it was missing was the front glass, other than that it worked perfectly! We agreed on the price ($100!!) and then set about making delivery/pick-up arangements. I was either going to have to go up north to get it or my friend was willing to pull his trailer up there the next he went for a visit and all I would be on the hook for is some gas money.

Just this morning my buddy mentions to me that his Father-in-law was bringing it down with him today and he would be stopping by my house this EVENING to drop it off!! That's a great Birthday Gift!

I can't wait to see the look on my daughters face when she sees it!
