Yeah I was looking through my machine book and all those odd ball juniors...
That Hires that was in CA again..if it it's missing the compressor and is too big
of a cooler - cut 'er down... that's all the juniors were anyway two embossed ends
that Barq's junior brougth pretty good money here about a year back.
This is probably the only time you'll hear me talk about chopping a machine.
I like stuff all original with original paint scheme but those little guys are the perfect size
unless you can find a standard (double junior) those are nice size machines too!
That Orange Kist was border line in size.... Hope one shows up closer...
I'd like to get something that scarce... Hope who ever got it shows up here and
we get to see the restoration.

Are all those missing the compressor or do they just use ice and no refrigeration ?

The Pepsi and RC were non-compressors the OC had at one time a compressor
you can tell by the metal slats in the base, the wider off set slat helped hold
the compressor. these are early 40s and I think are VERY COOL  harder to find
I've only seen one other Orange Kist and it was a smaller standard cooler
and it was in the Club Soda magazine in someones collection years ago.
I feel these would be fun to collect. I only have a 7up junior...
These are WAY few and far between... Bet there are more RC 81s out there
and that Orange Kist cooler.
