Glen,
Congratulations!  Glad that you got back safely and that there was a break in the weather (finally!).  Looks like all of SMC should get props for communication and coordination for working to keep this machine in "da family."  Props to Leroy too for not putting it on eBay and shipping it to Elyria, Ohio...he he...

Please post pics after you get some sleep and have some time to clean it up..that was a helluv a drive!   Actually, I bet you will still up for a few more hours...  '<img'>

Again, super cool machine and was great talking to you during the sweating out period.  Remember guys and gals, there are still more out there!

Way to go Glen!!!  I was dying to say something yesterday, but I didn't want to let the cat of the bag (or soda out of the bottle) and spoil your privilege to tell everyone your adventure.  Anyway, what a good ending.  I'm just glad to be able to have helped.

Great Site Guys, I got so excited when I stumbled across this last night I had to sign up myself and post.  I look forward to getting to know all of you guys, and sharing some more stories about Pop machines. I listed my machines I have or have owned in my signature.. not sure if I did it right. we'll see
Is there a thread, that has just "Great Finds" like this 7up Machine.. .those would be fun to read and I have a few good finds myself.  Later,
John

Hello John, Welcome aboard. You'll get hooked on this site!! This is by far the best site on the internet. Lots of good stories and sharing of info. going on in here. I noticed that your user name is "coke-n-stuff", this may get a little confusing with another users name of "coke and stuff", so just giving you a little heads up. Again welcome aboard. '<img'>
