Got a variprice (91E9302B-3703). Set for .25 cents no change Gives nickels and dimes for change. Has wires you move up and down to change the price from 5-.25. I rember it won't got up to 50cents. But it works just fine. Missing the sluge rejector though. If somebody could point me to a manual for setting price. I would appriciate it.

Josh,

I've got a Vari-Price on my can machine and was wondering the same thing.  Here is a photo.  I haven't inquired yet, but Funtronics may sell a manual for $10.  Is this what you have?

Yea that is it. years ago I played with it. Was never able to get it above like 35 cents or something. Thus, I purchased a used coinco 9800B. The note on it from years ago was 25c no change. I remeber getting it set lower than 25c. I was wondering if it needed a conversion or something like some of the other all metal coinco mechs. Unlike the newer plastic ones with dip switches.

I asked the same question a year ago and here is the reply that I got from johnieG:

Can you just plug  it in & drop in Nickles until it vends?
that would verify the current setting & you should be able to  then move the jumpers up/down a notch & see which way it goes.... ( PS: I hate this type of mech., they're always burned out, or just plain busted   )

Good luck guys!

I got a manual for this thing from Funtronics.  I haven't read it closely, but it does tell you how to change the price.

Sure, I'll share (no offense to Funtronics, as I don't wanna cut them out of any $$).  Give me some time to figure it out and I will clue you in.  I am on vacation this week and have been doing some painting of the VMC can machine.

I have the pages in the manual that talk about setting the price on the single- and dual-price changers.  I haven't played with this yet, so I can't explain any specifics.  I have the whole manual, so let me know if there are any other questions.  So far, I haven't seen anything else in there talking about setting the price.

The file is too large to post, so if you wanna PM me with your email address, I will send it.  I have this in Adobe Acrobat, which is free to download from the net.
