Well I went and picked up two new Cavalier USS-64's. I posted some of this in the swap meet area but I wanted to add more here. The machine with the white bottle door's top is really rusted out but the rest of the machine is in great shape. The other machine is pretty nice but I don't like the red and black paint on the front and I also don't like the bottle door. I just finished removing the front doors and switching them. I will be selling one machine as a whole and parting out the other if anyone is interested. The main reason I am asking this is what do you all think I should ask for the good machine? It is rust free besides light surface on the top and it cools and works great. I haven't paid a whole lot of attention to these lately. I seem to remember one going for alot on ebay a while back but I think that was an isolated incident.

Hey Josh - I've been watching several of these Cavaliers.  Unfortunately every local machine that I bid on didn't meet the reserve. Last post that I remember about a high selling Cav was up in Mississaga, Ontario  (i think Chris was looking at it... or we were trying to convince him to buy it)...  Since then, in general I think they're selling for less than V56 / V63 or VMC56's in equivalent condition or not selling at all because the reserve is set too high.

Josh,

Will the USS-64 shelf fit my VMC 56 can vendor machine?  If so, I would like to get 3 shelves from you.

I am sorry but they are alot different. They are about 3 time as wide as yours. The USS-64's vend just about anything. They vend Cans small bottles even some of the new plastic bottles fit. So the shelves are big. I wish I had a garage I would use this machine for myself as they are the best machines to use since they vend everything. I would bring it inside but my landlord said if he sees one more machine in the house he is evicting us. Oh well we are moving soon anyway.

He would rather see them sitting outside the house?

How many have you have inside?

Heck Josh has only been in Florida for a month...
He probably has only a couple dozen! '<img'>
He's a true hunter!

Heck leave one out front and put a sign on it...
“WANTED soda machines like this!”
That'll teach 'em!

This is the same house I used to live in so he is still mad from the Frosty machine, Glasco, USS-64, Cornelius compact 50, and two Vendo 56's being restored in the living room. He says if he even sees one we are out, so I have a nice storage unit about 500 feet from my house so I rented a storage unit. My land Lord is a jerk. He lets himself in when ever he wants and looks around when we aren't home. I have caught him twice. His office is next door so he can see when we leave. But a nice 2 bedroom house for $500 a month isn't too bad. Thats the only reason we stay here. He says that my old machines bring in insects. I tried to explain that I power wash the entire machine before bringing it in and most of the time they are restored so everything on them is clean. He still says that he controlls what we can and can not do inside his house and he wont allow thim inside or out.

He does sound like a jerk.  I really like the USS 64 though.  It helped that this one was in my dad's store and that I got it for free, but I love that fact that they will vend almost anything.  ''

Here is the finished machine. It now cools great and shines really nice. This is the whole front door off of one machine, the cabnet of the other and the cooling system from the CSS-64 that I was parting out before. In all the machine looks really nice and works great. I think it should be on ebay by tomorrow.
