Last weekend I had the chance to celebrate the 75th birthday of a good friend of mine.
Ted is a bit of an icon in the British auto world, particularly Triumph. He raced for Group 44 (Triumph factory race team) back in the 70's and even continued racing as an independent in his TR-8 until the late 80's.
Ted's shop is in Pandora OH. Truly small-town America. His uncle opened the shop in 1913 and they became one of the very first Dodge Brothers dealerships in 1914. Today Ted owns the building and it still looks quite a bit like the it did in the early days.
Ted has spent the last decade or so collecting memorabilia related to the building. Since it is such a small town, he's had neighbors drop off original bills of sale and other marketing materials that they've found in "grandad's papers".
Here is a bit more history of the building.
