The more the merrier.  I purchased a waterproof roll of LEDs lights, power supply and a remote device all from Amazon. Here are a few photos of the install. I debated for some time but ended up drilling a tiny hole in the stainless, just big enough to slide the two small wires through, so the install would look clean. It is sealed up pretty good. I actually got the LED idea from mygoose101.

Here are some photos.

Everything seals up nicely and when the door is closed no light or wiring is visible. The remote works great too. Had it running for a couple of days when I was adjusting the T-Stat. No issues.

Looks great... I too have been looking into different lighting options and I think we as restorers need to come up with a more modern, solution to the replacement of the ballast fluorescent and now PRICEY" switches ...

I think LED would be the way to go...

Thanks for the props Jerry but I need to give credit where credit is due. The LED light idea came from Moondawg a couple of years ago. He installed his own light kit on a 72. Since then I ran with his idea by putting it on my 72 and also my 56. These LED lights are pretty much available anywhere now. It's a very easy install and looks fantastic.
