Michigan Mafia gets Visit from Ohio

Over the weekend, Leonard (ltransam) made a visit to Michigan to see Slider-Bob.  Lately, I have been running a slider pick up and delivery service as Bob continues to find sliders all over Michigan so I decided to deliver his latest find.  While we were there, we helped Bob reorganize a few of his machines and Leonard took a couple back to the buckeye state with him.  Bob treated us to a great lunch as well.  That is me on the left and Len on the right.  Bob avoided the camera somehow!

It was great to finally meet Leonard in person and talk machines with a few like minded members.

It was great seeing Tim and Leonard last weekend.  Thanks for all your help guys!  Great talking soda machines too!

Ken Barrett (kbareit) is the proud new owner of the embossed coke slider shown above.  We worked out a deal for his refrigeration and assembly services of my non embossed coke 35, and embossed Orange Crush 55 that you've seen pics of here recently.

Nice pick up! Maybe these Coke 55's are not as uncommon as first thought?  After I picked mine up, I have seen a handful of them popping up.
Even still, it's a great little cooler with awesome embossing!

Soon we'll have the Mafia visiting Ohio. I can't wait to see Bob's joy of seeing his Coke and OC sliders in person. I am looking forward to getting the Coke 55 as it will take my slider collection to 11 of the 17 embossed 55 sliders.

It was great meeting Tim !   and seeing Bob again to bad others in the Mafia couldn't make it over . We talked about latest finds and moved a machines around Bobs garage and trailer every thing from sliders to stoners & cavalier and Even a westinghouse to a VMC .  Man I was pooped !!!
But the biggest scare was going down Bobs street . I got in one of his 6. Inch ice groves and slid sideways with no control my butt cheeks clinched up so tight the leather seat now has a permeant crease in it  . I missed taking out Bobs ford and his wife's Mercedes. Wooooo  
But it was a great time !!! Thanks again Bob for lunch .
