Well he ended the auction early so either he sold it or pulled it to make it look like he had an offer.

He must have sold it. He said he had someone coming to look at it this week. Good for him. Seemed like a nice guy.

The Glascock Deluxe is one of my favorites of the old style cooler. If that one sold for $15K, I think I am going to fire up the DeLorean. At an original price of $36.00 for a new one back in the 30's that is better appreciation than most other investments! Great Scott! I would also love to have one of the Glascock Portables with the spoked wheels for neighborhood parties! http://soda-machines.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=152&Itemid=14 Tim

Even adjusted for inflation, it isn't a bad return at all!

OMG I want that. However I'm a little confused because all the deluxe models I've seen have a completely different lid system. I think that may be a lid off of a standard model but a deluxe lower cabinet. Still awesome it survived.

Then again I take that back. The standard has smaller dimensions. I just found this one that's the same sold for 2100.00 in better condition. http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/12296317_coca-cola-glascock-deluxe-variation-floor-cooler
