Yes, you can move it on it's back, but you'll have to let it sit upright again about 24hrs. before firing up the compressor again ( the oil inside the compressor will migrate into the lines & you'll have to give it time to return to the compressor).
& you are going to have SO much fun getting it downstairs!  '> . I've got a Westinghouse WC-102-MD machine in my basment ( about the same height & weight) Tons of fun! literally! , so be carefull!!!

Thanks for the tips JohnieG.
How did you get it down the stairs? How many men? Ropes and harnesses too or just guys above and below?
Anything else I should know?

Well due to lack of head-room on the steps ( couldn't get the dolly to tilt low enough with any kind of control) We ended up with it on it's back & sliding it down the steps on some 2x4's covered with OSB screwed to it (to for a slide) and then we covered the OSB with a carpet remnant (to prevent scratching up the back) so basically with two guys on the bottom to control the "slide" & two guys on the top of the steps . the machine was straped with two tie-down straps from top to bottom, we kept the top end centered & the guys on the bottom of the steps eased it down to the landing & then we stood it back up again...see the attached cheesy drawing....PS I suggest that you place your least favorite brother-in-laws and or people who owe you money at the bottom of the steps! '>

Honestly, you are amazing. this is exactly the sort of info I was hoping for.
That is very helpful. And I think the drawing is great.
I really appreciate you taking the time to make it for me.
You probably aren't in Minnesota are you?
I am just very excited because I will finally have my first Coke machine (and I have always wanted one)!

Actually I would suggest putting people that you owe money to at the bottom (no big loss if they get smucked by a big coke machine, means you don't have to pay them!!) keep people who owe you money out of harms way
