Morning All, New guy from Texas.

Recently bought a Selectivend (believe its a 9A). Payed more than I would have liked & pretty sure more than its worth. I'm not too upset as its exactly what I was looking for at the time and i plan to use it unil the wheels fall off. It's home will be in the garage.

From what I've researched Selectivend not the most popular out there and it wasn't committed to any one company as it was a multi vend machine. It seems you could have a Dr. pepper or any other name brand on the front. This one is a frosty Root Beer The thing is fully restored and works great, I think... I'm driving 4 hours this weekend to go pick it up.

Here are some pics;

Welcome to the Site!

Looks like you got a nice little machine to start with!

 Yes, 1 leads to 2, etc.  If you look on a regular basis you will find a good majority of what you want!

Looks good. You could maybe even add a Frostie graphic to the side.

So not in the greatest shape as I thought.

"Fully Restored" by somone who knew how a rattle can works. It's also missing some minor things.

The machine says 10 cents and is supposed to take Nickles and dimes but the guy said he didn't know how to program it and it's on quarters. Any information on that would be helpful.

I guess on the plus side, It gets Ice cold!

You just have to open the front of the coin mech and change the setting.   There should be a post on here as to how to do it.  It only takes a minute or two.  I can't remember the setting for .10.

Welcome to the club. A very nice machine and as you say a multi vendor too.

The next time you could have a go at a bit of restoration yourself and save a few dollars in the process.
