Since the top has been repainted, it is hard to tell. Did they have sharpies back then?
Also, Its in Phoenix, not exactly the hub of segregation. More of a red flag, not proof for anything.

A drinking fountain was simply in option. I don't believe they were rare by any means!!

Spoon-feeding Newbies since 2001... Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes. Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon! The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor 11 is louder than 10... "Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

This is a joke. Now we have a poor man's version of the Cavalier 102 but for $5k maybe not exactly too poor. So if I bolt on drinking fountain to the back of a machine would that make it even more rare? Heck, I'll add one to the front also get a sharpie and put Asians, Hispanics, or whatever and charge $10,000. Ridiculous!

Brown vs the board of education was 1954 abolishing seperate but equal doctrine. Anyone know if the machine was produced prior to 54?

Wouldn't it be the other way around; "Whites" get the sodas while "Blacks" just the water? Very suspect indeed!
