Purchased a nice original  vendo coin changer today. It has the original lock which has the number
V407 on it.  I need a key. Does anyone have one for sale?

Brian,
No this one I purchased from the owner of an antique architectural business in downtown KC,MO.
I really wasn't in the market, but I have been looking for an original Vendo base and pole for one of these for quite some time. The base, pole, and backing plates are far more rare than the coin changers themselves.  As you can see from the pics it is all original. I will detail it, and keep it original and in working order with patina. I need an original key, and an original plexi glass cover for the front. This one has a broken corner.

Well Eric,
I talked to Janet today at Funtronics. The V407 key for the vendo coin changer is one she doesn't have.
Hopefully someone has a copy of this key laying around.

May check with a locksmith... they may be able to make you a key.  Since it's easy to transport you take it to him that should avoid any type of service call fee.;
