Seems hard to believe only 102 were made. Where did he come up with that number?  Can anyone confirm?

I think he overpaid by 102 percent...

He may be quoting an old inventory stock sheet I've been seeing floating about the internet that states the cooler stock levels of Coke bottlers from the late '50's early '60's. As I recall it had show that they (Coke) still had some NOS (New_Old_Stock) coolers left over from the early '50's. it also showed some standards both water-cooled & air cooled, etc. I've seen it around & I believe it's a copy of the same page  quoted in one of Jeff Walters Cooler books...

Are the serial numbers on a machine tag a true number in production?

Only machine I know of with 102 production was the Cav 51 double. And thats debatable.

Seller modified his ad to remove the 102 made comment. Still no sale.  It's gonna be a long winter...
