Came across this, what appears to be an S&S cooler, but without the removable panels (only on Glascock?)

Seller is looking for $150, and I might be able to trade some stuff.  Were these ever repopped and is this a good deal?

Not sure of the value of them, but I paid $40.00 for mine. I think there a cool looking ice box!

They made them with or without the removable panels. The nice thing about the "Generic" is that you can have it done in whatever brand you like. In good shape $150-$300 is fair.

Looks pretty good.. If you get it... you should find a local soda and do it in that brand and era style... good luck!

According to some documentation I read, the S&S 700 did not have removable advertising inserts.
This cooler appears to be in nice shape; so $150 seems very fair!

I think they are neat coolers and with the lids for 150..I'd be all over that...

and Jim yes, according to the soda machines section of this site, the SS 700 was as solid sided cooler and the SS Model A was the one with the removable panels.... but I've always called them the 700 too... Learn something new each day.

Wow. Thanks for the new info John. I wasn't aware that the model with the inserts was actually an "A". It's a good day when you learn something new!
