Can an Ideal 85 slider rack be cut down to fit a 55?

Dont cut down that rack get with Slider Bob he may have a 55 rack  oh.

I'm out of good 55 racks.

I have a 55 rack that is missing the 4 center rails, but the outside is complete that screws into the galvanized sides.

You could cut down 5 rails from an 85 and spot/tack weld them in place and you'd never know the difference.

I will sell it cheap. PM or email me for pics.

Just wanted to thank Slider-Bob for getting me a slider rack and trap door. I am totally stoked! Also wanted to thank Jared for the measurements on the center rails. You guys rock!

Good deal!  So do you have the rack for the 85, or was it something you might pick up if it was going to work?  I might be interested in it if you are willing to let it go.

I have a rack with flapper 225 + shipping and a coin mech working 10 cent for ideal 55 slider.
