Good Job, I saw one the other day at the Midland Antique show but it was in bad shape.  Was thinking of getting one, was it hard to get parts and decals  for it?

Thanks,
I just did the disassembly and reassembly. My friend Milt Larson is credited with the paint and body.
He owns gas alley in Kingsville, Missouri. A lot of his restored gas pumps go to Barrett Jackson.
He is a true perfectionist. Check out his website at WWW.gas-alley.com

Rayg,
These are extremely difficult to find parts for. They only made them for a couple of years, 1946 and 1947.
If I recall there is company on the east coast that restores these when they can find them. They want Rick Dale prices though. The globes are the most difficult part to find. Most of them are cracked or missing.
The same place does reproduce the vinyl decal set for $75.00. I bought a junker donor one to steal parts from for mine. I still have alot of parts left.

BCHARLTON,
nice popcorn sez, looks solid. Globe looks nice too. Should restore beautifully. Make sure you only have it blasted with soda or walnut shell media. The metal is gum wrapper thin.
