I bought three Nationals a few years ago and managed to get one restored pretty quickly.
I've been pontificating of this second one for quite some time now, but finally managed to pull my finger out.

A big thank you to Leonard who supplied a very important piece of trim.. Free of charge and wouldn't even take
money for the postage.

Its a bit unorthadox decal wise. I just can 't resist those lovely 40's/50's Pastel colours. Did have dreams of transforming
it into a Hershey Candy machine but gave up playing around with the vending magazines in the end.

I have just about wedged it into my little room...

Dave,

Looks Great!  I love the graphics.  Is that the one that you needed the coin mech for or did that go into you 9 pull?

Looks great Dave!  Is this something that will get used, or is it just a show machine?

Thanks again gents...

Creighton - I think this is a keeper for a while at least. I had to sell the one I restored previously and regretted it.

Tim - Yes indeed that coin mech you sent me 2 years ago is in this old girl. I had to midify it slightly but it owrks fine on 10c.

Tkaz - None of the family are smokers and our packs over here are a differnt size to yours. Its going to be a rather expensive
light, just like almost everything else I have in the room. The good thing is it works as it should (apart from the coin modification)
I have lots of vending machines, vending a whole host of different things but the only one that gets used now by the kids is
the Bazooka Joe one. Its also the machine I could have sold ten times over.

David - Yeap I remember sending you the pull lever. Only happy to help for once..

Dave,

Smashing job on that one!  Definitely would like to get one as a display piece.  Likely wouldn't be used, unlike the Stoner candy and the soda machines!

Still need to get up with you sometime for decals for my British candy vendor (once I get back home)...I think the plan will be to go with Kit Kat.  Our nanny's mom is from England (lives here now) and highly recommended that to me!

Nice job Dave, I don't know where you are going to put that???  After seeing pictures of your collection, I think the Misses will have to give you another room.
