Why the hole in the upper right of this cooler near the lid?

It used to be a cooler unit, that's where the copper lines went up the back and into the cooler. It probably has a few extra holes in the inside line where the motor mounted as well.

No. The Pepsi is listed on CL and I asked about the other one. I'd like to have an ice chest for the patio (so it doesn't have to be anything super great, just not huge) and that was one of the pics that were sent. Don't know if I'd want it with holes from the lines, plus his price was $650 (not close to what I was thinking), followed by "Want to make an offer"?

If you offer him $100, it will be the highest bid he gets all year.

I'd buy it , that is one of those Ultra Rare "Double Flavor Vendors" that Came out in the late 50's when Pepsi and Coke Merged for a very short time and decided to vend both of their beverages out of one unit by "Stacking them"... very unique vending concept and makes this combo probably more rare than the Victor Single door Cooler Grill. The Super Rare Pepsi Cola Decapper or the Mountain Dew VMC 81!.. I'd buy it NOW!
