Does anyone know the history of an unpainted stainless steel repro Grapette 6 pack cooler? Such as when they were marketed, how many made and cost at that time?

I know a little, I owned 2. They were a prototype for the reproduction 6 pack coolers. On the stainless only a few were made but never sold so hard to but a price. I had 2 Dr. Peppers and 2 Grapette, sold all 4 on e-bay, perhaps you bought one, not sure. I was very surprised how little they brought because they are rare. I think I sold all for at a average of about $175 each. There was very little interest when selling. Hope this helps.
