Although the book is usually a little high Walters soda machines book says a fully restored V110 is worth $2,450 and the book is from 1999. I have found that the value of a very good original is a little lower than fully restored but they are usually in the same ballpark.

its a nice looking machine 1000 would be top for me. thats in the lubbock area? machines like that are few and far between here in the midland area

Yeah, it's here in Lubbock. Only machines that ever come up here are box 60s or 70s units. Hardly ever see these older ones here and if they do come up they want way too much. I'm sealing the deal tomorrow. Thanks for the help everyone. I'll take pictures when I get it.

I would definitely buy this machine for $1300.00 without batting an eye. Especially if it were close enough to pick up. You can't beat a nice original 1950"s soda machine. And the 110 is great for the large game room or large garage.

Thanks for all the input everyone.  I just got it earlier today and tested everything out.  Unit cools very well and the coin mech works great.  I just need to clean it up though it's not that bad.  In case I want to go the free vend route, any easy way to rig this to free vend?  I did some searching on it but couldn't find anything definitive.

I'd get the appropriate foil-cal for the coin entry bezel. It obviously won't be an ALL-original anymore (if it matters that much to you), but it will definately add to the overall beauty of the machine and the reproductions are very nice copies.

On the right side of the mech visible through an oval cutout in the backing plate, you will see two 6-32 screw holes parallel to one another.
Screw a screw into the front hole and the nickel dog will lift up (if a dual dog mech).
Screw a screw in the rear hole and the dime (or 10c dog) dog will lift up.

It was just a rectangular piece of plastic duct taped to the liner.  Like a little bucket to hold something and keep it cold I guess.  I can't think of what the use might have been.
