Thinking about going to the Chicago Coin Op show this November? If so, I got a groupon email today for 1/2 off a room at the Chicago Pheasant Run Resort (St Charles). Room is normally $149/night...On sale for $74/night (limit 2 nights). It has a few blackout dates, but none are in November. You'll have to read the terms and conditions (and perhaps call them to confirm this) before you buy, but thought I'd throw it out there for those interested. From what I read it's a single bed room , king or Queen.. I like the guy who is coming with me , but not that much!   Days in 1/2 mile down the road is $54.00 a night right now... |

I use the Carlson Country Inn Suites a block from Pheasant Run. Been staying there for several years now, under $70 a night, and they feed you a nice breakfast. Non-smoking, only 4-5 years old, very very happy with it. And I've reccomended it to several folks in this group.
