Well, after a lot of searching and getting beat to the deal over the years, I finally found a good deal on a Stoner Theater (aside from the deal that I got on my older model Theater!).  Tripped across this one last week and was surprised that it had not been snapped up.  I requested some pictures, made arrangements to go see it this AM and I brought it home.

It is pretty much an original survivor except for the blue spray bomb paint job--original color appears to have been green hammertone based on a look under the hood.  It has the keys for both the base and the top and all of the chrome and knobs are in good shape.  The mirror has been replaced--that'll save a few bucks--and the rest of the glass is original.  All the pulls work and dispense but one vend column may need a little adjusting to prevent the bonus buy where several shelves drop at once.  The light works and it has it has the original 5 cent--nickels only--coin mech.  The cabinet has a few minor dings and dents but not too bad for a 1949 machine.

Right now, after a little spring cleaning it will be good enough to use and someday it will get a proper restoration.  Fresh Candy anyone?
