Great Poll, but I'm confused? I'm exactly 40, so do I use the 30-40 button or the 40-50 button... maybe if I'm confused it's because I'm older? hmmm  glare

That's fantastic! I am 29 and have been a member for 9 or so years. I bought my first collectable (a Duncan parking meter) when I was 11 at the Marion county fairgrounds swap meet in Indianapolis. I grew up doing this with my Dad. How did you get into this hobby? I hope more people of our generation get into these machines and other collectables. I have seen so many collections liquidated when collectors pass away because their children and or grandchildren have no interest in it. What a shame. Our younger generations seem to have no interest in the past. Even my grandparents are giving me most of their heirlooms as they know I am the only one that will appreciate them and never sell them.

Me and Jack are the only young guns here! We have to deal with all the old folks, just kidding.

Looks like I'm in the majority (41-50)! Boy, that makes me feel old!
I got my first machine when I was a freshman in high school (1984). My parents threatened to call their scrap hauler when I had 4 machines sitting outside their house during college.  veryangry
I am hoping that my daughter (2 years old) will share my love of coin-op items. She loves helping me load up the machine in our gameroom. I have to help her a lot since they are glass bottles.  tounge
