Well done Rod...

John, you are absolutely right.. Why would a guy lump a machine to Chicago without first doing a little bit of homework.
He was clued in enough to know the show was there so you would think he'd know the going price. Very strange
but go on you Rod for taking the time to have a chat with the guy and securing the deal

And there's the other side where a guy lugged a Pepsi 27 with the enclosed based in the back of his van... asking $2600!!!!!
It was a nice original maybe a 8 out of 10 but $2600!!??... I would like to know what he came down to... doubt he sold it.

I have to add my 2 cents to the thread
The part I look forward to the most about the show is the thursday evening dinner at Portfillo's. As usuall, it was great to see all the familiar faces. And I must say that it was that much nicer when someone covers your dinner. Thanks Larry!! The weather was totally disagreable on friday and saturday, but there were still deals to be had. A big thanks to Larry for the delivery of my vendo 27, and Rod and Janet for my Mr Cola bottlecap.
I'm already looking forward to the fall show. I'll be picking up some cool projects, and seeing some goods friends again.........
