Not a terrible price for a not-very-often seen machine. I guess it would be more of a collection completer than anything.

The seller contacted me on this machine as well as others about a month ago as she is about 2 hours from me.. Her husband Died and was a collector and she had a friend helping her sell stuff.. lots of signs and some coolers..
she presented me with the popcorn machine at that time.. and I made an offer to her and pretty much had a done deal on it for 750.00. then 2 days later (a day before I could go get it) she had another "Friend" suggest to sell it on ebay... so they told me they where putting it on ebay.. I was going to put a bid at the end, then watch it skyrocket with a minute or so to go..
I saw one in Chicago a year ago, it had already sold and hte seller would not tell me what it went for?
Oh well..

And it has to be a cleaner way to pop. You don't have the mess of the oil to gum up the components. Also there is no risk of destroying the element by running it out of oil

I know.. I told my wife I'm not cleaning it.. She has cleaned it every time so far. The air pop wouldn't take any salts, so we ended up spraying butter juice all over it Plus every time kids come over they turn the crank and fill up the blower until the kernels are coming out of the shoot.
