Sorry this happened but glad to hear they caught the responsible parties.  Make sure you follow-through with the prosecutors as sometimes the little darlings get off.  You are in the insurance industries and know full well what this type of crap costs everyone in increased premiums.

Well truck is cleaned up and looks better than ever,  because of the dirt and salt spray  90% washed off the 10 % they had to put some elbow
grease into it .

Good news Pat!  Maybe a good sentence for those punks would be to wash and wax your cars every week for a year or two!  A little community service never hurt anyone and they would get the chance to learn that they nearly screwed over a pretty good guy.

I'm glad you didn't use laquer thinner because it's too hot and would have messed up your paint. Use reducer instead.
