Thanks Tim and mills 400C for the links to the videos, they were cool!

For some people the thrill is in the hunt!

A little competitiveness is  good, it keeps people sharp and makes for interesting, but  harmless fun.

Wow, I never thought bidding on an item would lead to this. I know many of you and have had the pleasure of picking up and taking items to you from all over the country. I love this site and the people on here are great. Had I known this was going to cause this much grief, I would not have bid on the item. Thus, it is a great machine and one that does not come up very often. I placed a bid at the start of the auction as well. You see, I do have more than on Ebay name!

Wow,  I only have one name on this site and one on eBay. But then again I don't try and hide anything . So if anyone wants to know I am a48indian on eBay.  Referring to my 1948 indian chief with an original Indian sidecar.

Two names on Ebay, mine and my wife's. No why, I did not want other 7up collectors to know I was bidding on items when I was buying 7up stuff, so I would use my wife's from time to time. Ebay is all about winning, why bid on something, if you A) You don't want it and B) you don't plan on bidding to win it. Though I have issues with Ebay, when I bid on something, it's because I want it for my collection.

As Tommy Chong says in Up in Smoke while Cheech is freeking out in the car after that big stoggie......MELLOW, MELLOW,MELLOW, BLAHHHHHH.

Just start at around 4:50 to 5:35

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=067FMmyrXmQ

I think you both need a chill pill, or a big doobie.  Plenty of Popperettes out there.

Personally, I bid on Ebay to buy it.  I hate to be a jerk but if I want it and you want it, well to me, that just means we have one thing in common.  It doesn't mean I wont bid on it.  If I do have a gentlemens agreement with someone, usually I'll ask how much are you willing to spend.  Then whoever has the most cash would bid.  This way you don't jack the price up unecesarily.

But I am not going to ask permission from everyone on the site before I bid on something.  How howky is that?  If you want it, go for it.

If you don't get it then .....Mellow, Mellow, Mellow, BLAH!!  Deal with it.

Rayg, you're welcome.  I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Folks,
Please stay on topic and hold the crap to a minimum. High bidder wins the auction. Didn't win? Bid higher next time.
Thanks in advance,
Creighton

don't let a machine ruin a friendship or burn a bridge... they're out there... There are some great
folks on this site.. some have machines I'll never be able to own... And that's alright... Getting the word
out what your looking for helps... there are a few here I've met in person and yet to meet
that call me and/or drop me PMs on leads, auctions, etc. I do the same.
If there's a auction... the last place to mention it is on a site where hundreds gather that have
the same interest... There are vistors on here everyday... looking for leads on coin-op
Always better to post after you've unloaded the item in your garage.
Don't let something like a old machine eat away at you... Not worth it... I'm gonna close
for now, pop some popcorn in my microwave and watch a movie with my 8 and 5 year old... Priorities smile
