Yup....Chrome Lions...hahaha  tounge

I just wanted to "expand" my business. I went looking for a local chrome shop and either
were too expensive, closed, or in trouble with the EPA. Just more trouble than it was worth.
So, most of you guys know me, innovation is my calling...I went to a new technology...
"spray chrome". The "chrome" is a true metal/silver compound, that is sprayed. The color
is all from clear coat tinting. A bit cheaper, enviromentally friendly, and every bit as good as
a "top notch" basecoat/clearcoat paint job, lasting for years...with proper care!

We can do any color. We can do any metal. Plastic (yes, plastic), trim parts, shelves, bezals,
coin boxes, covers...(pimp my machine!!!)   Cool

If it can be painted...it can be chromed!

You can reach me at my same number...Global Compressors 1 877 856 4996.

Thanks Guys...good to hear fom you again!

Hey Eric!
Good to hear from you!
How does the process deal with pits, dents and scratches? Filler and primer like regular paint?
How thick is the surface once applied?

Hey Tom...

I have some sample tiles that are ready to go. Better yet, if you have a piece, bezel or something
that you would like to try, send it and I'll fix it up and return it...no charge. If you are satisfied,
send the remaining pieces to the set, and we'll go from there. You can be my 1st guniea pig....ummm
customer!   biggrin

The base coat does a good job of filling in, and damaged parts can be filled or repaired, then chromed.
Can't do that with standard chrome, for sure.

You know me...if it's not right, no charge!
Good to hear from you too.

Let me know,

Eric

Eric,
I am working on a Westinghouse WB-60. Within the next month or so (if everything goes according to plan), I will send you the trim (6 pieces) and the original working compressor to restore (as original). Specifics to come. I may not be your Guinea Pig, but possibly the more common lab rat.
I'll be in touch,
Tom

Hey Eric, I am thinking about sending you all my chromework for my Vendo 56.  But am curious if you do any of the dent work, like on the trim pieces that are slightly dented.

If not, I would try and get that done here.  As far as chrome goes, there are ZERO chrome platers in my state, so I will send to you either way.  Is that the same stuff as the Spectra Chrome stuff I have seen lately?

That is an interesting process.  Is the cost comparable to a good base-coat/clear-coat paint job?  Might be cool to do an entire machine in that process.  Can you imagine a silver-chrome Vendo V-39? Cool Talk about pimping my machine! Cool You would have to wear your sunglasses just to buy a Coke!

Of course, fingerprints would be your biggest enemy!
